A Tuesday Prayer

Please, give me new words, 
words with super powers,

super powers that can put an end 
to every war, fill every hungry
belly, make every child safe, 
cradled in the arms of love,

words that soothe like a lullaby, 
that wake, lift, open, 
heal the holes of this hurting,
hurting world.
