I’m really happy, Mom.

These are the four words
that spill
from her heart
into my own.

I listen as she shares
all the reasons 
for this overflowing
joy, 

and I know 
that I can float forever
in this sea, 
that there is not 

a single thing
that matters 
more
than this.
