Home Sweet Home
She Will Not Be Quiet: A (mostly daily, mostly unedited) writing practice
Jotting from my journal. Day #224 of (mostly unedited, mostly daily) writing/sharing.
Note: (I will now be posting MY (MOSTLY) DAILY WRITING on weekdays only, rather than 7 days/week
Home Sweet Home
There is a voice on the inside of me— small, scared, scarred, hesitant, dense and dripping with doubt. This voice stands on the shore of smallness, barks its warnings, believes in the lies of lack, tracks every failure, doesn’t know a thing about rest or deep breaths. And there is another voice— sure, steady, so big-sky big she can hold anything— lantern. Lighthouse. North star. Forever ushering me home. I lean into this bigness now, free fall into her open arms. My warrior. My wings. My true self. My shelter. My home sweet home.

Listen to the voice as big as Canada. Trust in its illimitable expansion.
