Hunting for Wonder
She Will Not Be Quiet: A (mostly daily, mostly unedited) writing practice
Day #237 of (mostly unedited, mostly daily) writing/sharing.
Hunting for Wonder
Today, I count my blessings, then count them again, walk through this Monday morning hunting for wonder as though it is the only thing that will save me. While I stir the honey into the steaming mint tea, I think of how it took twelve bees an entire lifetime to make just one teaspoon of this golden goodness. I sip extra slowly, counting and counting again.

Bowing to the wisdom, the questing wonder, the Monday spoonful of honey in this poem.
