Please, do it for those 
who have left 
their own skin, 

for those who think they must 
hide, numb, tame, tidy up, puff up, 
tamp down down down.

Do it for those who have forgotten 
that if they listen to the pounding 
pulse of everything, they will know home.

Do it because there is a fire seed
inside you, and it was always 
meant to burn, bloom, blaze—

do it because the world is dying from
lying, dying from caged truth—
dying from too much of too much. 

Do it because you are 
an undeniable 
work of art. 

Do it for love. 

Do it so the sun 
can witness 
her own shining.
