The Only Reason
A new poem for you & upcoming events/announcements
Jotting from my Journal. Day #198 of (mostly unedited) daily writing/sharing
The Only Reason
I see you— a reflection in the river of myself. Here always— like the stars, like the moon, like this breath and this one too. I want to say—I love you even though we've never met, wait until the words echo back. Do you see yourself in the river, in the river that flows through me, through you? You. Me. The river. Is there a difference? Do you see that we do not need a reason to love, that love is the only reason.
