Today's Reminder
She Will Not Be Quiet: A (mostly daily, mostly unedited) writing practice
Jotting from my Journal. Day #216 of (mostly unedited) daily writing/sharing.
Note: (I will now be posting MY (MOSTLY) DAILY WRITING only on weekdays, rather than 7 days/week)
Today’s Reminder
At any moment
on any given day,
there is an invitation
to move toward love,
or move away
from love.
I get to choose
and choose again.
Toward
or away.
Away
or toward?
The direction makes
all the difference.
Join poet Alix Klingenberg (author of four poetry collections, including her most recent “Quietly Wild”) and me—
Wednesday, October 29th from 9:00—10:15 AM (PST)
for a conversation (via Zoom) about writing & the writerly life. I’m super excited for this! I hope you can join us.

Jill's Morning writes, excerpt:
But this time I didn't get triggered. I loved on her and I loved on her well. I bathed her and I spoke gentle words of support. I made her laugh, I slept with her every night, I covered her with her blanket each time she lay down in the night. I was present. It was a dry run for her dying and I was terrified at first.
Yes, thank you. And the opportunities present themselves all day long!
