When the Thinker Rests
She Will Not Be Quiet: A (mostly daily, mostly unedited) writing practice
Day #215 of (mostly unedited) daily writing/sharing.
Note: (I will now be posting MY (MOSTLY) DAILY WRITING only on weekdays, rather than 7 days/week)
When the Thinker Rests
she sees that smallness is a lie, notices the three doves that have landed in her front lawn, chooses to trade scraps and lack for fine feasts of poetry— rather than asking Am I good enough? The question becomes: Am I showing up with love? When the thinker rests everything shifts, sifts lifts— like today’s October sun.
Join poet Alix Klingenberg (author of four poetry collections, including her most recent “Quietly Wild”) and me—
Wednesday, October 29th from 9:00—10:15 AM (PST)
for a conversation (via Zoom) about writing & the writerly life. I’m super excited for this! I hope you can join us.
