She Will Not Be Quiet: A (mostly unedited) daily writing practice
Jotting from my journal. Day #154 of (mostly unedited) daily writing/sharing
Wishing for a Magic Wand
She has walked the streets of this small town for years, sometimes stands in the middle of the road arguing with demons I cannot see— one summer afternoon, she and I share a bench outside of my favorite café, she asks if I have a couple of bucks for a beer, as I hand her the money, as she walks aways, my heart must stretch bigger— how I wish I could wave a magic wand that would make everything inside of her okay.
