“Grief astronomer, adjust the lens, look close, tell us what you see.” -Andrea Gibson
Sidle up to yourself, grief astronomer. You don’t have to be like the bison - not always anyway! You don’t always have to walk straight into the storm. Sidle up gently to the grief, to the lens of your heart. What do you see, my beloved grief astronomer? I see gray hair, a few strands of brown, mixing, weaving itself into the crown of the crone. Welcome, welcome. Let’s walk each other home.
Dear @Jillean Johnson, I get a little bit giddy when I see you have posted here! Really. It’s so good to have some company! Thank you. Thank you. I can’t get enough @Andrea Gibson! I am so happy their words sparked your writing and that they continue to join us here.
I wish my heart would hum! It's quite the grumblepuppy these days. Thank you, as always, for giving us you.
Love to you, dear Thomas. I hear you. I have been quite the grumblepuppy these days too. I am beaming love your lovely way.
Yes, the silence is speaking. Thank you for reminding us to listen, Julia.
Big love to you, Jenna. xo
