Changing the Questions
She Will Not Be Quiet: A (mostly unedited) daily writing practice
Jotting from my journal. Day #81 of daily writing/sharing
Changing the Questions
Please, can we change the questions? Not am I successful, am I good, am I enough, is she better, is he better? But how open are these eyes, this heart? Might there be space for all of us? Am I kind? Not will I get it all done? But am I here for the buckets full of beauty on this blossoming spring day? Not how can I protect myself? But am I willing to kick down these weathered walls, these worn out, archaic ways? Not how much do I have? Am I loved? What will I get? But, how much can I give? How can I love bigger, brighter, braver? How much wild wonder am I willing to let in?

But
