Do You Feel it Too?
She Will Not Be Quiet: A (mostly unedited) daily writing practice
Day #89 of (mostly unedited) daily writing/sharing
Do You Feel it Too?
Isn't it time, way past time, really, to rearrange the furniture, rip up the old carpet, bang down the walls, rip the roof off so that we can see tonight's haloed, half-moon? Haven't we been sealed tight inside of these boxes long enough? When is the last time you counted the stars, noticed the shape of your own sleepy shadow? The rivers, the trees, the ocean with its unfathomable depths are calling—do you hear the call? There is a new way, everything is shouting, a new way that is strung with fairy lights of kindness, strung from my pulsing heart to yours, and back again. I have felt the call all of my life— do you feel it too? Come, there is no door, look up and kiss the moon with me— let's leave lipstick stains all over everything. Yes, I mean everything. It is all waiting. It's all waiting to be loved. There is no time to waste.

SPECIAL NOTE: I am super excited to share that I am currently working on my third book of poetry!
I would absolutely love to have a space where I can retreat for a while to give this book my full attention. If you happen to know of a writer in residence program or know of an available, peaceful retreat space, please let me know. xo
Signed copies of my book “Staying in Love” & signed poetry prints are available at the following link.
