Day 4 Excerpt from my new morning writing practice:
How I want the fire in my belly. How I fear the fire in my belly. What if I get taken over? What if I lose myself in something, never to return to this normalcy that’s so known and uncomfortable and sad?
Fire in the belly. Fire in the belly. Let it grow and grow and grow. Let today be a new beginning, new oxygen invited in. Open to the magic of the day.
“How I want the fire in my belly. How I fear the fire in my belly. What if I lose myself in something…”I so hear this, @Jillean Johnson. Questions that are inside of me too. Here’s to letting it grow & grow, to today being the day. I am celebrating your 4 days in a row!!! High 5s, deep bows, hugs. As I said in my other comment, it is so very good to have some company over here. Grateful. xo
Shades of "A Supermarket in California"! But I also thought of Frank O'Hara, although this is leafier, greener, more organic than his cityscapes. Yes, give us the near to hand! Bravissima, friend.

Corvallis Farmers Market!
Blue-skied summer day, kindness, poetry, beautiful, thank you.
Thank you, @Jillean Johnson . Yes, the Corvallis farmers market fills me full. I love it. It makes me happy to know that you know it too. xo

Thank you for being here, Thomas, for continuing to read my wobbly words.
