Necessary Nectar
A new poem & special (time sensitive) announcements
Below is a brand new poem (day #212 of mostly daily, mostly unedited writing) & important announcements about upcoming offerings.

Necessary Nectar
There is a grumbly old voice in here that insists I get a real job, insists no one wants to read my words. So, I wipe the countertops, load the dishwasher, mix nectar for the hummingbirds, pause to listen to the crow’s screeching call. The old voice tries to convince me that I am too alone, too late, too old, too tired for all of this. I keep the pen moving anyway— knowing that words are the only way I know to pry open what still cowers inside, the only way I know to praise, to pray— necessary nectar to nourish the hummingbird inside.

dear friend,
ignore that "grumbly old voice."
And this:
"The old voice tries to convince me
that I am too alone, too late, too old,
too tired for all of this." NOT NOT NOT!! Simply not true, Julia.
Sending big love,
Amrita
“I keep the pen moving anyway” a line that serves as a mantra of resilience. This poem is beautiful. Thank you for sharing!
