It's Sunday again and just when I think that today is surely the day that words will not come, I remember that poetry is everywhere— in the morning breeze that makes the oaks whisper secrets I have to bend closer to hear, in the ladybug that lands on my bare leg and stays there for many, many breaths, in the single feather that sails slowly through the air, then rests on my back porch, surely a messenger in disguise, quietly announcing—I am here. I am here.
