When Women Gather
She Will Not Be Quiet: A (mostly unedited) daily writing practice
Jotting from my journal: Day #106 of (mostly unedited) daily writing/sharing
When Women Gather
A gathering of women, warm smiles, bright eyes, an exchange of energy from loving hearts and hands, no words necessary. Bare feet deep in the earth, the rest of us pulsing with the stars— half of us anchored, half of us flying. Fresh strawberries, cold water, pink peonies in a yellow vase. Bows of gratitude, inklings of what comes next. I walk to my car, hands on the steering wheel, ready, for maybe the first time, to let myself be steered.
